Wakana Central Kitchens operate under the highest possible quality and process control standards. We implement the latest in hygiene technology, including fully automated Induction Heating (IH)rice-cooking systems and super-vacuum cooking equipment. Quality is assessed at every step of food production, specialists perform continuous detailed quality checks, and meticulous hygiene checks are made at the microbial level.
This quality control system ensures the safety of all Wakana food products.

0ur food operations comply with all relevant legislation and regulations,
including the Food Sanitation Law and the Japanese Agricultural
Standard (JAS) Law.Wakana also applies the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point System (HACCP) to guarantee even higher standards.

Wakana has a reputation for its expertise in food production, thanks to product adaptation to the changing needs of the market and use of the latest manufacturing technologies. Both domestic and overseas networks are used to obtain only the freshest, high quality food ingredients.

 

 
 

At Wakana, approximately 1,200 types of ready-to-eat meals are developed annually. The Central Product Research Laboratory at the Wakana head office is responsible for developing new products.

 

In addition, Wakana employs a procurement schedule system divided into eight seasons to ensure optimum freshness of seasonal ingredients.

Wakana supplies these products, together with operational software and training, to corporations and organizations.
